When Embedding on YouTube:
Due to the recent Playlist issue with YouTube, we ask that you ensure your video is not set on a playlist mode by removing the junk behind the original link:

Any videos that link to playlists will be removed. Accidents happen, but if it becomes a frequent habit, warnings may be issued.
------
- Limit to 5 Videos Uploaded Per Member/Day.
To keep our Video Section from getting swamped, we are only permitting a total of up to 5 videos a member can upload in a single day. If you submit 7 videos, and we only approve five, your remaining two videos will be automatically denied without warning. After 48 hours if the additional videos have been approved, you may upload again.
- Posting Introduction Videos/Game play/Audition or Casting Call Videos
At this point in time we are no longer approving Introductions, Auditions or Casting Calls to our Theater Showcase until further notice. Game play includes building Lots or Characters in CAS Screens, test videos, literal game play, etc. We ask that you feature these videos in the appropriate forum threads in the Discussion Forum.
EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE: VOICE ACTOR REELS, "LET'S PLAY" SERIES, SELECTIVE GAMEPLAY/FEATURE VIDEOS THAT PERTAIN TO NEW EXPANSION PACKS/GAMES/CONTENT. (Contact Tribillio for more information.)
- Videos Depicting Extreme Violence/Porn:
There is no excuse to this rule. If your video is a rendition to The Human Centipede or Hostel, we are unable to post as per Ning's Video Guidelines. If your video graphically has violent scenes such as rape, murder or abuse, we will have to approve it on a case-to-case basis. If it's smut, it's not going to be approved. You can post pornographic Machinima at this link. (WARNING: 18+)
- Video compilations of scenes from TV or movies are not allowed.
You film must be a Sims Machinima Film. It is fine to include footage from other video games, or Live Action films but not without Sims Machinima in the majority of the film’s length. You must also credit the footage used in the description or in the credits of your video.
- Collaborations or MEP's (Multiple Editor/Effort Projects)
MEP's are perfectly fine as long as you have permission from all who have contributed and credit must be listed in the description. Only ONE member can be allowed to upload the MEP, preferably the member who organized the project.
- Your work MUST be your own/No Sock-Puppeting.
This rule should read fairly plain & simple. If the work you are uploading is not yours, do not post it. If you are anxious to get a someone to join Directors United, we strongly recommend you to send them an invite, encouraging them to participate in our site.
