Can I Advertise With The Sims 2?

Ok, serious question here. Am I able to advertise my book with the sims 2. Like actrually promote my book with the sims 2 on Youtube and whatnot?

I have seen some people do that. Why not right? As long as all the content you used in the video is yours, then it should be fine (since you are doing it for profit, not sure the "fair use" rule works, you might still be able to use music from www.freeplaymusic.com though).

I'd check EA's license agreement too. I'm not sure about any copyright infringements if you use the sims for financial gain (i.e. profit) without EA's written concent.

I've read the EULA but it does seem to say anything about this.
